A terra é o mais antigo teatro. Quando seis corpos se inclinam em direção à terra, as suas espinhas tornam-se cordões umbilicais que ligam a vida ao corpo materno. Esta obra de dança moderna, que reconstrói a memória genética do solo, tece a intensidade vulcânica do barro vermelho de Yunnan, o rigor austero da argila de Jingdezhen e a pulsação duradoura das Planícies Centrais na sua sintaxe corpórea. Através de corpos sem género, os bailarinos traçam um ciclo de colapso e reconstrução, revelando como a terra embala a gestação de civilizações.
The land is the most ancient theatre. As six bodies bend toward the earth, their spines become umbilical cords connecting life to the maternal body. This modern dance work, which reconstructs the genetic memory of soil, weaves the volcanic intensity of Yunnan’s red clay, the austere rigor of Jingdezhen’s kaolin, and the enduring pulse of the Central Plains’ loess into its corporeal syntax. Through genderless bodies as vessels, the dancers trace a cycle of collapse and reconstruction, unveiling how earth cradles the gestation of civilizations.

Em 2023, fundou o Ruhe Dance Theater. De 2018 a 2022, trabalhou na Companhia de Dança Contemporânea Tao Body de Pequim. Em 2024, foi convidado a participar na Exposição de Dança Ambiental de Guangdong, Hong Kong e Área da Baía de Macau pela Associação de Bailarinos da China. Em 2023, foi convidada a participar na obra de arte física imersiva e totalmente sensorial “Melt”, criada pelo coreógrafo e realizador de renome internacional Shen Wei.
Yang Xiaoxiao
Fundou o Ruhe Dance Theater em 2023. Mestrado em Coreografia, Academia Nacional de Dança, Itália. O seu trabalho em vídeo “Time” ganhou o Primeiro Prémio de Videodança no Concurso de Arte de Roma, foi selecionado para o D2D International Dance Video Festival ganhando o louro, e foi selecionado para o Beijing International Dance Video Art Festival.

In 2023, founded Ruhe Dance Theater. From 2018 to 2022, work in Beijing Tao Body Contemporary Dance Company. In 2024, was invited to participate in the Environmental Dance Exhibition of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area by China Dancers Association. In 2023, was invited to participate in the full-sensory immersive physical art work “Melt” created by internationally renowned choreographer and director Shen Wei.
Yang Xiaoxiao
Founded Ruhe Dance Theater in 2023. Master’s Degree (Choreography), National Academy of Dance, Italy. Video work “Time” won the First Prize of Video Dance in Rome Art Competition, shortlisted in D2D International Dance Video Festival and won the laurel, shortlisted in Beijing International Dance Video Art Festival.
