Federica Fasano / Iztok Kovač / Petra Fornayová

Federica Fasano é bailarina freelancer e praticante de dança, trabalhou em São Petersburgo (Rússia), Haia (Holanda), Malta e Espanha (Ballet Theatre Coreographic Miniatures, The Saint-Petersburg Classical Ballet Theatre of Marina Medvetskaya, DDG, OtraDanza). Formada com distinção em Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras (UNIBA, Itália), possui uma Licenciatura com distinção em Pedagogia da Dança (CSDA, Espanha), um Mestrado com distinção em Estudos de Teatro e Performance (UNIR, Espanha) e um Mestrado com distinção em Pesquisa Educacional (UA, Espanha). Premiada com o Prémio RusPrix 2019 do Consulado Russo em Haia, e o Accésit do VI Prémio Nacional 2020 em Pesquisa em Artes Cénicas (AAEE, Espanha). É membro do júri em competições internacionais de dança como YRGP (Rússia) e IBC Anna Pavlova (Haia). Atualmente é bailarina, investigadora assistente e gestora de relações internacionais da Companhia OtraDanza (Espanha) dirigida por Asun Noales, e coordenadora de projetos do Festival Abril en Danza (Espanha, dir. Asun Noales).

Iztok Kovač vive e trabalha em Ljubljana, na Eslovénia. Fez uma estreia artística notável com o seu primeiro solo no início dos anos 90 e, praticamente a partir do nada, estabeleceu a dança contemporânea eslovena no espaço cultural da Europa e não só. Depois de ter sido galardoado com o London Dance and Performance Award pela revista Time Out, criou a sua própria companhia de dança em Lovaina, na Bélgica, sob a alçada do Klapstuk Festival. Pouco depois, a companhia mudou-se para Liubliana, onde a EN-KNAP Productions foi criada em 1994. Como primeiro representante da dança contemporânea, recebeu no mesmo ano o mais importante prémio cultural da Eslovénia, o Prémio Prešeren.
Para além dos seus 35 projetos para palco, que foram apresentados mais de 500 vezes em mais de 30 países, trabalhou também como coreógrafo convidado no Reino Unido, Alemanha, França, Bélgica, Israel e Coreia do Sul. A sua obra artística inclui também seis filmes de dança, numerosas direções de grandes eventos e celebrações nacionais na Eslovénia e trabalho pedagógico internacional. Durante o período Covid, começou a produzir obras de dança em tecnologia VR – Stage360.
Como diretor de programas do Centro Cultural Španski Borci, lida com mais de 600 eventos por ano
e colabora com muitos parceiros nacionais e internacionais. É parceiro esloveno na rede Aerowaves.
Iztok Kovač foi o iniciador da rede regional de dança Pan-Adria (7 palcos na Croácia, Itália e Eslovénia), é membro da direção do Conselho Nacional para a Cultura da Eslovénia e membro da direção do Centro Cultural de Španski Borci.

Petra Fornayová dedica-se à dança contemporânea e ao teatro. Licenciada pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Comenius em Bratislava, Eslováquia, estudou dança na Academia de Artes Performativas de Bratislava, Eslováquia e na EDDC Dusseldorf, Alemanha. Depois de ter sido membro de diferentes companhias tais como o Théâtre du Mouvement Paris ou o Ballet Ópera de Estado de B. Bystrica, iniciou uma carreira como freelancer. Criou mais de 20 espectáculos de autor e encenou peças de teatro contemporâneo (Vyrypajev, Spregelburd, etc.). O seu trabalho é apresentado regularmente na Eslováquia e no estrangeiro (New Drama Bratislava, Opera Nova Praga, Festival Divadelná Nitra, Jamais Vu! Paris, Tanec Praha, Ars Cameralis Katowice, HybajHo! Praha, Korespondance CZ, etc.). Foi membro da equipa artística do pavilhão eslovaco da Bienal de Arte de Veneza 2024. Fundou e dirige o festival internacional de dança contemporânea Nu Dance Fest. Petra é membro do conselho editorial da revista de arte contemporânea VLNA, membro do conselho do programa da Cidade Europeia da Cultura 2026 – Cidade de Trenčín e, desde 2023, membro do conselho da Academia de Artes de Banska Bystrica.

Federica Fasano is a freelancer dancer and dance practitioner, she worked in Saint Petersburg (Russia), The Hague (Holland), Malta and Spain (Ballet Theatre Choreographic Miniatures, The Saint-Petersburg Classical Ballet Theatre of Marina Medvetskaya, DDG, OtraDanza). Graduated with honors in Foreign Languages and Literatures (UNIBA, Italy), she owns a Degree with honors in Dance Pedagogy (CSDA, Spain), a Master’s Degree with honors in Theatre and Performance Studies (UNIR, Spain) and a Master’s Degree with honors in Educational Research (UA, Spain). Awarded with the RusPrix Award 2019 from the Russian Consulate in The Hague, and the Accésit of the VI National Award 2020 in Performing Arts Research (AAEE, Spain). She is jury member in international dance competitions such as YRGP (Russia) e IBC Anna Pavlova (The Hague). Currently dancer, assistant researcher and international distribution manager of the OtraDanza Company (Spain) directed by Asun Noales, and project coordinator of the Festival Abril en Danza (Spain, dir. Asun Noales).

Iztok Kovač lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He made a remarkable artistic debut with his first solo in the early 90’s and virtually out of nothing established the notion of the Slovene contemporary dance in the cultural space of Europe and beyond. After he was rewarded with the London Dance and Performance Award by Time Out Magazine, he established his own dance company in Leuven, Belgium, under the wings of Klapstuk Festival. Soon the company moved to Ljubljana, where EN-KNAP Productions were established in 1994. As the first representative of contemporary dance he received the most important award for culture in Slovenia – Prešeren Award in the same year.
In addition to his 35 stage projects which toured over 500 times in over 30 countries, he also worked as a guest choreographer in UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Israel and South Korea. His artistic opus includes also six dance films, numerous directions of major events and national celebrations in Slovenia and international pedagogical work. During the Covid period he started to produce dance works in VR technology – Stage360.
As a program director of Španski Borci Cultural Centre he deals with over 600 events per year
and collaborates with many domestic and international partners. He is Slovenian partner in Aerowaves network.

Petra Fornayová focuses on contemporary dance and theater. Graduated at the Law Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, studied dance at the Academy for Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia and at EDDC Dusseldorf, Germany. After being a member of different companies (e.g. Théâtre du Mouvement Paris, Ballet of State Opera B. Bystrica) she has started her freelanced career. She has created more than 20 author’s performances and staged contemporary theatre plays (Vyrypajev, Spregelburd, etc.). Her work is presented regularly in Slovakia and abroad (New Drama Bratislava, Opera Nova Prague, Divadelná Nitra Festival, Jamais Vu! Paris, Tanec Praha, Ars Cameralis Katowice, HybajHo! Praha, Korespondance CZ, etc.). She has been a member of the artistic team of the Slovak pavilion of the Venice Art Biennale 2024. She founded and leads the international festival of contemporary dance Nu Dance Fest. Petra is a member of the editorial board of the contemporary art magazine VLNA, programme board member of the European City of Culture 2026 – City of Trenčín and since 2023 Board member of the Academy of Arts Banska Bystrica.
