Biografia Biography
Laia Santanach
Laia Santanach é coreógrafa, bailarina e pedagoga de Barcelona. Atualmente dirige a sua própria companhia de dança, a Cia Laia Santanach.
Em 2016, criou o seu solo Ballant ballàvem, que continua em digressão. Desde 2018, tem vindo a investigar a tradição e o ritual. Desta forma, criou uma trilogia que começou com ÀER, depois TRADERE, que estreou no Mercat de les Flors, e atualmente Jarana estreia-se nos Teatros del Canal e no Mercat de les Flors. As suas criações têm sido apresentadas a nível nacional e internacional.
Em paralelo, em 2016, co-criou o festival Menorca en Dansa, que continua a co-dirigir. Atualmente é professora de dança na Universidade Autónoma de Barcelona.
Laia Santanach is a choreographer, a dancer and pedagogue from Barcelona. She currently directs her own dance company Cia Laia Santanach.
In 2016 she created her solo Ballant ballàvem which continues to tour. Since 2018, she has been investigating the tradition and ritual. In this way she has created a trilogy starting with ÀER, after TRADERE premiered at the Mercat de les Flors and currently Jarana premieres at Teatros del Canal and at the Mercat de les Flors. Her creations have been presented nationally and internationally.
In parallel, in 2016, she co-created the Menorca en Dansa festival, which she continues to co-direct. She is currently a dance teacher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
