In this workshop, we combine physical exploration and improvisation exercises as a gateway to each performer’s archive of memories.

Taking the universe of ‘Quebranto’ – Bruno Duarte’s new solo piece – as its starting point, the session offers a space for exploration where the body is challenged to transform memories, rhythms and gestures stored within into real, tangible movement.

Rather than simply replicating a fixed repertoire, the aim is to seek an authentic point of convergence between the piece’s choreographic language and the identity, musicality and individual experience of each participant. Through floor work, the use of gravity and structured improvisation dynamics, we pave the way for personal memory to be transformed into dance.
